SEE & HEAR: Dreamers of the Ghetto - "Tether" / "State of a Dream" + Making-of Documentary
By
Quinn S.
Bloomington, IN's Dreamers of the Ghetto recently released their excellent debut album Enemy/Lover via Temporary Residence. The most immediate point of reference on first listen would have to be Afghan Whigs, especially with such a powerhouse singer in Luke Jones and a sound nearly as vast as, well, space.
The band currently have two live dates on the horizon. You can catch a live performance and hear a cut from Enemy/Lover below.
Here's a live performance of album closer "Tether" filmed at Radio Radio in Indianapolis.

For more, check out the ensnaring guitar and soaring vocals of "State of a Dream." I can't get enough of the guitar riff in the verses -- so good.
