The Love Language - "Heart To Tell"
It's got this sort of '50s feel going through it, but conveys heartbreak with more of a kick, never playing it too safe. Stuart McLamb does heartache and heartbreak with a certain timelessness, like some time traveling troubadour. With a classically memorable melody and a wild guitar solo, "Heart To Tell" is one of the better pop rock songs about love that I've heard in a while.
"Heart To Tell" is off of The Love Language's Libraries out July 13th on Merge. Stream the album here.
Watch a little behind-the-scenes action documenting McLamb's creation of the new record after the hop.
