Person L Announce New Record and Tour

(The Positives by Person L)

Now, I was never really a fan of pop punk music and, therefore, was never really a fan of The Starting Line. They disbanded a few years ago and ever since then, the band's frontman Kenny Vasoli has been devoting his time to his new band Person L. This new group released a solid debut last year entitled Initial that displayed a new sound for Vasoli that was markedly different than his output with The Starting Line. He cites Drive Like Jehu, Radiohead, and even James Brown as some of the influences that have inspired his work with Person L.

On November 17th, Person L releases their new album, The Positives, through Academy Fight Song. The 11-song effort was produced by Copeland frontman Aaron Marsh at The Vanguard Room, Marsh's home studio. Of the album Vasoli says, "We were aiming to keep a very raw and dirty quality to the record while still making it comprehensive and colorful."
