A name like DUDES can go one of two ways, but I assure you this project is filled with substance over any sort of gimmickry. Take for example the spacey, chilled out rattle of "Teenage Rebels." With a bit of latter day Ryan Adams & The Cardinals guitar riffage, the echo of late '80s indie pop, the expanse of shoegaze, and a bit modern day electropop sweetness, it's equal parts accessible pop and evocative, chillwave-tinged pop.
