MP3: The Chap - "We Work In Bars"
A few years ago, I was first introduced to The Chap and found their sound to be entertaining and quite enjoyable with the perfect amount of whimsy. "We Work In Bars" is more straightforward, whimsy only appearing towards the beginning. It's a great fast-paced pop song with strong harmonies and classical-sounding acoustic guitar riffs. The vocals (and keyboard choir) are layered so well and really pull the song together. "We Work In Bars" possesses one of those melodies that you'll start randomly humming or whistling somewhere down the line. The kind of melody that you start reproducing while driving around in your car or strolling from point A to point B.
