LISTEN: Blue King Brown (Feat. Queen Ifrica) - "Women's Revolution"

Blue King Brown (Feat. Queen Ifrica) - "Women's Revolution"

Uplifting, important, and all around a track that radiates warmth and global connectivity. It's chock full of substance and a thick groove that keeps you hitting play, returning for more. "Women's Revolution" is an inspiring song by a band that has traveled the world and spread their message on their own terms. They're the kind of band that sound like they make no compromises and truly stand up for what they believe in. When a band has a message of meaning and they couple it with music that will, undoubtedly, stand the test of time, there's no telling how far their reach is. Music is a universal language, and Blue King Brown are fully aware of that. As the band says on their website, they are "socially aware and active" and they are a band that "walks their talk on many social issues."

Blue King Brown is a globally-conscious urban roots from band Australia. They have performed all over the world and have opened for the likes of Carlos Santana, Lauryn Hill, and Silverchair. Carlos Santana says, "Blue King Brown is my favorite band right now. They embody everything I love in music from Ozomatli, African bands, Tower of Power to Santana. They are the voice of the street and the band of the future!"

"Women's Revolution" is from the first half of a new double-album entitled WORLDWIZE. The first half, WORLDWIZE, Part 1: North & South, was created with help from the legendary Sly & Robbie, New Zealand producer/engineer Chris Macro (Scribe, Katchafire), as well as New York mixing engineer James "Bonzai" Caruso (Gwen Stefani, Nas, Damien Marley, Madonna). The band traveled to New York, Las Vegas, and Jamaica to complete the recording of the album.

Blue King Brown singer/guitarist Natalie Pa’apa’a explains that the new album is about looking at the world altogether, as one.
WORLDWIZE; being conscious of the world you live in today, the health of the planet and the well-being of the people. Being aware of our global community and holding an open mind and heart toward its many different cultures. It’s understanding you know very little of the world’s combined knowledge but that you are willing to learn and connect with others in order to better our collective future…Get WORLDWIZE!
