LISTEN: Acrylics - "Nightwatch"

MP3: Acrylics - "Nightwatch"

When you look into the sky at night, it's hard not to marvel at what's up there -- let alone what lies beyond. "Nightwatch" is appropriately filled with eerie charm and calm confidence. It sounds as vast as the open road or the valleys of the mid-West. Singer Molly Shea rides a strong wind of synthesizer and palm-muted guitar, making her way into the welcoming night sky. Driven by a late-'70s rock spirit, "Nightwatch" sounds classic without coming across as stale or played out; a refreshing cut from a promising new album.

Acrylics, the duo of Molly Shea and Jason Klauber, will be releasing their first full-length on January 25, 2011 through Hot Sand Records. You can find "Nightwatch" on the forthcoming album.

Check out the hypnotic, psychedelic video for another Acrylics song entitled "Molly's Vertigo" after the hop.
