It's eerie, but captivating with the thread of Katy Wainwright's charming vocals weaving throughout. The psych-pop sound lends itself to creating a particularly carnivalesque sort of mood. All of the instruments are wrapped in a druggy haze which amplifies the psychedelic tug of the song.
"Rainbows" is from Return To The Ugly Side, scheduled for release on February 22, 2011 through Domino imprint Double Six. It is the group's follow-up to last year's debut Ugly Side Of Love. Return To The Ugly Side will be available on CD/LP and can be pre-ordered here.
