Sacramento's Ganglians will release their new album, Still Living, August 23rd through Lefse Records (North America) and August 29th through Souterrain Transmissions (Europe). The 12-track effort was produced by producer Robby Moncrieff (same man behind the Dirty Projectors Bitte Orca). Check out the first single from the album below.

Ganglians are known for their psychedelic roots, which are still clearly intact here. But even amidst the lo-fi aesthetic and loose feel, the band manages to mix in a fair amount of pop. Guitars soaking wet with reverb provide "Jungle" with a lot of space, amping up the sound past its garage rock baseline.
