VIDEO: Ben Sollee - "Close To You" (It's Full of Penny-farthing!)

Did you come to this post to find out what "penny-farthing" is? Don't worry, I had to google it myself.

Singer-songwriter Ben Sollee is all about the penny-farthing in his latest music video for "Close To You," a song from his new album, Inclusions. This folk-meets-soul-meets-jazz tune is brilliantly translated into a visual wonder that uses only one camera and not a single cut. Director L.C. Crowley and producer Puja Chaudhari create the perception of forward motion with the help of an ensemble cast of stealthy assistants. With a collection of footage playing on makeshift screens in the background, these shadow actors move and place a wide variety of props next to Sollee as he pedals along, making it appear as though he's really covering a lot of ground.

Inclusions is out May 10th.
