Normally, I wouldn't be into something so blatantly ripe for creating a frenzy on the dance floor. Then again, I'm a sucker for anything foreign. And when it comes to South America and dance music, I'm always interested in listening.
Enter Mati Zundel and Marina Gasolina, a Buenos Aires musician/producer and a Brazilian singer, respectively. Elastic beats, traditional instruments, and sliced and diced vocals all melt into one another on "Zindud vs Melo de Tabaco," making for one energetic, relentless, interesting, and exciting shot of dance floor adrenaline.
