Death Row Records is for sale. Okay, it was for sale. Bidding has ended, and Global Music Group, Inc. is now the proud owner. As a result, Global now owns the righs to classic albums by Dr. Dre, Tupac, and Snoop Dogg. Not too shabby.
The label hasn't been in the best shape the past few years, hence the auction, but it still has quite a value, especially with its back catalogue. Plus, let's not forget that Tupac is still releasing albums that make the Top 10 or at least the Top 40 on the Billboard charts.
