On 2/10/09, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys will release his debut solo effort entitled Keep It Hid via Nonesuch. Stereogum's premiering a song from the album right now called "I Want Some More." It is reminiscent of The Black Keys, but I really feel like that is only because of the vocals -- so distinctive. Although it has the spirit of a Black Keys song it is more adventurous with its punches of organ and fuzzed out bass. It certainly maintains the production and instrumentation style that first appeared in his work with The Black Keys' latest record, Attack & Release.
