NEW VIDEO: Motel Motel - "Coffee"

Brooklyn five-piece Motel Motel recently released the Matthew Murphy-directed video for their song "Coffee" which you can view below. It's somewhat reminiscent of that one Sigur Ros video from last year, but not as chaotic and is, in a way, more rewarding as it wraps up. It plays with the whole concept of Adam and Eve which manages to convey the lyrical content quite well.

A while back we featured a track from Motel Motel's New Denver LP called "Harlem." If you happened to miss that one, check it out here.

Things Change, Time Will Tell You That

Sometimes you think you understand something. Upon first experience, you write whatever it is off. You think, “I don’t have time for this.” But then, shortly into the future, you come back to it and you realize you were wrong. You were mistaken in turning your back, closing off your mind. From then on, each day you have it in your life, you value it all the more because you realize that all those days you spent without it are now gone and all you have is the future. It makes you appreciate the time at hand even more and it makes you glad that you rediscovered what you once ignored.

"Harlem" is from Motel Motel's new LP New Denver. Pick it up here.
