Show XIII: "SXSW Preview One"

There was no show last week due to technical problems at the station. The lack of a playlist for last week is, for once, out of my control and has nothing to do with my delayed postings.

South By Southwest, more commonly referred to as SXSW, is coming up in March. For those who do not know, SXSW is an annual conference/festival held in Austin, Texas and contains a music and media conference, interactive festival, and a film conference and festival. Since its inception in 1987, the Music and Media Conference has become a renowned event, with bands from all across the world traveling to perform. Whether it be veterans of the industry or a recently formed, unsigned act, SXSW has been an important part of the worldwide music scene for many years. For more information, visit SXSW's website.

To celebrate this year's SXSW, I will be playing songs from artists scheduled to perform at the conference for the next few shows leading up to the first day of the festival (March 9th).
