VIDEO: Daniela Spector - "Arubot Ve'Otobusim"
By
Quinn S.
In the city there is a separate world, inhabited by four souls.
You might not understand anything Israel's Daniela Spector is singing, but it really doesn't matter. It's a perfect example of how music is an internationally understood language that anyone -- in some way or another -- can communicate with. She is able to convey the point of her lyrics through her delicate voice and careful instrumentation. I think it's certainly not impossible to gather what exactly she is singing about with a song as evocative as this one. Eran Hilleli captures this incredibly intimate performance in such a way that you might as well be sitting in the room while Spector and her backing band perform.
