What is always interesting about "Outside" is its seasonal changes. The way they run parallel to our own lives -- both in mood and direction. "Outside" is a world where one can find anything he or she so desires. Some things are haunting while others are disarming and captivating with their beauty. In this case, "Outside" is just that, with chilling vocal harmonies, acoustic fingerpicking, and sparse percussion. Milagres' "Outside" pays homage to the wonders of nature coming from an album that deals with singer Kyle Wilson's obsession with mountain climbing. And here's a song that conveys Wilson's unity with nature; a unity marked by a strong connection to and appreciation for its endless wonderment.
