MP3: The Concretes - "Good Evening"
In the center of the ocean, you look up to see clouds pulled over the bright blue sky. Sitting in a small rickety row boat, you move with the fluctuation of waves, rising and falling above and below the mark of the horizon. The sea is a mix of dark shades, appearing rather monotonous. You look up to the sky and meet a swirl of colors as sunlight and blue sky pour through cracks in the canvas of dark clouds. A deep bass offsets the dark atmosphere produced by the ethereal synth and spacey guitar swells. Under the surface of dark beauty lies a foundation of danceable rhythm flushed out by the bass and drums. It climaxes in inspiring choruses, and it concludes with a finale powered by a heavy groove and an entrancing symphony of guitars, percussion, and synth.
