2011 Bonnaroo Lineup Announced, See Who's Playing This Year
By
Quinn S.
My my how time flies. Seems like Bonnaroo 2010 was only yesterday. Well, it's 2011, a new year, and so that means another Bonnaroo lineup to announce. This year's festival will be taking place June 9 - 12 on the same beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville.
2011 marks Bonnaroo's 10 year anniversary (time really does fly). It only makes sense, then, to do something special to celebrate this milestone. What better way to celebrate than to have a rare joint appearance by Dr. John and The Original Meters recreating, in its entirety, the legendary 1974 album Desitively Bonnaroo, the source of the festival's moniker. More special treats have been announced, but, let's get right to it. Below is the initial lineup for this year's Bonnaroo. The final Bonnaroo 2011 lineup will feature over 125 bands and over 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days. Tickets for the festival will go on sale on this Saturday, February 19th at 12 noon eastern exclusively at www.bonnaroo.com.
