Ponytail Share Music from New Album Through Mash-up Video

The news that Ponytail was disbanding was both sad and surprising -- they were getting quite a bit of press after all and had a lot going for them. Well, siiiiiikeeee! They didn't break up, they just needed a little bit of a break.

When you consider that the break-up was announced in August of last year, it's somewhat surprising to learn that the band has a new album set for release on April 12 through We Are Free. The album, entitled Do Whatever You Want All the Time, was produced by J Robbins and features seven tracks of brand new material.

Hey, bands need vacations, too.

Scope the album art, tracklist, and watch a mash-up video featuring music from the new album after the hop.

Do Whatever You Want All The Time Tracklisting

1) Easy Peasy
2) Flabbermouse
3) Honey Touches
4) Beyondersville//Flight of Fancy
5) AwayWay
6) Tush
7) Music Tunes

The album art was created by EYE of Japan's Boredoms.

The music video below was created by band guitarist Dustin Wong. It mashes up a variety of clips that go along with portions of each song on the album.

Welcome back, Ponytail!
