SEE & HEAR: "White Limo" from the Foo Fighters' New LP

In case you weren't aware, the Foo Fighters are set to release their seventh studio album on April 12th. They've been showing us all how album promotion should be done, releasing teasers of all sorts over the past couple of weeks through tweets, secret shows, and Foo Fighters FM. But unless you were one of the lucky ones to score entry into one of the band's recent secret shows, then you probably haven't had the pleasure to hear a whole song from the forthcoming album (unless of course you went on YouTube to watch video from said secret shows).

Good news! The Foos have released a music video for "White Limo," a song that will appear on the new album. As expected, the song contains no traces of the band's pop rock character, with a straight up hard rock sound and Dave Grohl screaming his head off (what more could you ever want?). And if you're going to have a heavy rocker of a track with boatloads of riffs and screaming, it only makes sense to find a way to include Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister -- especially as a limo driver. Those familiar with the Foos as a radio-friendly rock band probably won't take to the song all too well, but consider that this band has a hardcore/punk/hard rock pedigree between Grohl and Pat Smear (back as a full-time member of the band). Regardless, this is a fine addition to the band's collection of goofy, entertaining music videos.

Why this video rules:
-Lemmy
-FF-emblazoned white limo
-Dave's "COPS" sweatshirt
-Everyone's facial expressions (especially ones of surprise/excitement)
-Taylor's drum kit
-shot of full band lip-syncing to Dave's screams
-old school sound

For those keeping track, the band shared a little behind-the-scenes action via Twitter a week or so ago. "White Limo" is also the song that was briefly played in this video clip.
