MP3: Lab Coast - "Really Realize"
Warm weather has returned; the sun is finally beating the chill. A little bit of fuzz coats this coastal cruising, garage-meets-surf track that's a proper welcome to the spring and summer months. The lines of distant, reverb-drenched guitar riffs that float in the background add a layer of depth to the song, bringing it past its simple power chord beginnings. "Really Realize" recalls Guided By Voices and The Oranges Band, especially the sunbaked jams of the latter's The World and Everything In It.
