A Note About Our Video Feature "Spinning"
By
Quinn S.
That headline/title makes this sound like something serious, or it makes it sound like people were asking about it (they weren't). Anyways, you may have checked out the video(s) that have appeared under the header "Spinning" to the right of this page. If you happened to view any of them, then you're aware that it was a video feature in which I talked about what albums I had been listening to (and really digging). If you had kept tabs on the feature at all, you would have realized that I haven't updated it since the beginning of November 2010. I've been meaning to for the longest while, but I have continued to push it off for a later date. I wanted it to be a monthly thing, but sitting down to talk about what I've been listening to and then editing the video for release takes up more time than I'd like it to. As a result, I've opted to just post the artwork for the albums I've been spinning as of late.
I know, you're probably pretty torn up about this. I can hear your heart shattering. To mend that broken heart and cheer you up, here's the music video for Ratt's "Lay It Down," where a little boy makes a birthday wish to be a femine-looking dude who's attempting to seduce the adult version of the little blond-haired girl from his party...in a post-apocalyptic bomb shelter (?).
