Oakland-based rock 'n' roll trio Bare Wires are set to release their new album, Cheap Perfume, on September 20th via Southpaw Records. Check out the title track below.
Bare Wires - "Cheap Perfume"
With some glam powder, this cut of garage rock goes down easy, sounding less like a band replicating the past and more like some genuine, obscure '60s rock 'n' roll band. It's just gritty enough to dirty it up around the edges, recalling the innocent face -- but underlying lust -- of those late '50/early '60s garage rock singles.
Cheap Perfume is out September 20th via Southpaw Records on CD and 10" vinyl, as well as on cassette via Burger Records.
