It's unfortunate, but it's often the case that our dreams are overshadowed by something else. It's not what our dreams are or what the mean, it's what we do with them. There are forces in this world that are bigger than us, things that are louder than our dreams. Our dreams are what carry us through life; they are the things that give us hope. Even if we never get to see our dreams cross over into reality, we at least have the power to carry hope in our hearts, minds, and souls. But, things aren't always, and don't have to always be, what they seem. What gets us through it all in the end is recognizing our ability to face reality in the first place, even if we don't always win or end up with what we sought. Something can be something else.
Abby Gogo run with the kick and energetic hop of garage rock, taking flight as they add hints of shoegaze into the mix. The reverb-soaked, tremolo picked guitar riff that frantically races through "Louder Than Dreams" provides the song with a sense of urgency, and also creates a sense of openness that the song's garage rock roots lack. The band doesn't shy away from pop charms, allowing the song to be infectious while still maintaining its gritty undertones.
