Los Angeles duo Pyyramids will be releasing their debut EP, Human Beings, on October 31st via OK Go's Paracadute label. The latter band's latest record drifted into some psychedelic territory, so it's not too surprising to discover that OK Go's familiar-faced bassist Tim Nordwind is one half of Pyyramids. He's joined by singer Drea Smith (He Say She Say, Lupe Fiasco) for a project steeped in dreamy atmospherics that balances pop sensibility with the mystique of psych. Pyyramids - "That Ain't Right"
Human Beings will be available on 10" vinyl as well as digitally. The digital version comes with a remix of "Human Beings" by Nordwind's OK Go bandmate, Dan Konopka (as DMK) and another song entitled "Animal."
