That's right. In case you were unaware, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, John McCauley III of Deer Tick and Matthew Vasquez of Delta Spirit formed a band called Middle Brother at the tail end of last year. Their debut album is schedule for release on March 1st through Partisan Records, but, right now, you can hear a song from it below.
MP3: Middle Brother - "Me Me Me"
Nothing like a little bit of rock 'n' roll boogie. McCauley takes the vocal reigns here with harmonizing support from Goldsmith and Vasquez. It calls to mind Creedence Clearwater Revival and Crosby, Still, Nash & Young. With rattling guitars, jumping piano, and group vocals, it's a whole lot of fun and shows promise for, what I believe, will be a great debut.
Check out the band's upcoming tour dates and watch a live performance of "Me Me Me" from the band's appearance at last year's Invisible Children Holiday Benefit concert after the hop.
