Well, let's see. There've been a ton of garage rock-style bands over the past decade. Most have come and gone or are still cranking out consistently strong material. But then, then there are bands that are just not being heard. Hollerado is one of those bands that shouldn't be overlooked.
England's been producing a great many bands from said genre. And while Hollerado might be mistaken for one of these bands, they're Canadian -- and don't you forget it. Not only do Hollerado tunes have bite like a great white, they also pack quite a punch. Plus, how can you not like a band that uses the lines "Three is tea time/She puts on Patsy Cline/Cuts the crust off sandwiches and mentions how she don't mind dyin'"?

The band is currently wrapping up a tour with The Besnard Lakes. A few days after that, they'll be playing a show with with Fucked Up and will head out for two weeks with Fang Island. Dates below.
