Foo Fighters posted a short video clip to their Twitter account on Tuesday, one that defines the word “tease.” In the clip, we see a close-up of a studio monitor of some sort that is most likely from the New York studio where the band is currently mastering their new LP. If the 8 seconds of audio we get are any indication, this will be the hardest Foo album to date. And after the past few albums of more radio-friendly, pop-leaning rock ‘n’ roll – I’m talking more “Wheels” and “Best of You” than “The Pretender” – the Foos will definitely prove that with age, they only intend to rock harder. Nice to hear the band playing what they want and not what the public might expect. Rock ‘n’ roll.
