Royal Bangs - "Grass Helmet"
I'd imagine a helmet would be reduced to something as hard and defensive as grass if it was exposed to the sharp force of this song's hi-hat. There's fast, and then there's furious -- and this hi-hat is downright furious. And while the drummer rips a hole in the space-time continuum, the other members have a wild adventure, throwing a party with heavily-distorted bass and buzzing electric guitars. It's a frantic, loud, catchy rave-up that'll cut through anything.
