Secret Cities - "The Park"
With the pleasant charm of pop, this shaded song permeates the ether, spreading out in a haze of psych. "The Park" has a rather saccharine melody, especially for its reverb-washed vocal harmonies that seem to peek just over the instrumentation. It possesses a hint of gray, but it manages to shine even beneath the clouded beauty. There's a level of mystery to the whole thing, almost as if they only want so much to be discerned -- which just draws you closer.
